Wind energy gets less bad press
1 July 1998
Wind energy appears to be less of a contentious issue in the UK press today than it was a year ago. In particular, letters critical of wind energy show a marked decline over the year. The number of letters in favour of wind -- usually less numerous and often written in reply to negative items -- has not fallen off as steeply as mail from wind energy's opponents.
