Britain's wind farm developers voted Gerry Jewson of the Renewable Development Company (RDC) as winner of this year's Developer's Developer award at the British Wind Energy Association conference last month. RDC is based in Mold, north Wales. The award recognises the company's success in securing the wind industry's first Section 30 approval-for wind plant over 50 MW capacity-for its 58.5 MW wind farm at Cefn Croes in Ceredigion. The award was created in 2001 by Cambrian Engineering. Jewson received the trophy at the conference dinner from last year's winner, David Farrier of Powergen Renewables.
