Supplier chosen for Codrington 18 MW

Pacific Hydro has chosen a supplier and nearly secured a power purchase agreement for its 18.2 MW Codrington wind farm (Windpower Monthly, April 2000). German contractor AN Windenergie will supply and erect 14, 1.3 MW Bonus turbines for the A$33 million project. Commissioning is expected by mid 2001. Retailer Powercor Australia has agreed in principle to buy and sell the output.
