A wind project near Goole, Yorkshire, has been given unanimous approval by East Riding council, subject to developer National Wind Power (NWP) resolving outstanding issues about the turbines' effect on radar at Doncaster Finningley airport. NWP proposes building 16 turbines, each up to 3 MW capacity, at Goole Fields. If discussions with the Civil Aviation Authority conclude that mitigation measures are required then a planning condition will be imposed to ensure compliance with requirements.
