German ADAPT wind project

The first two 750 kW turbines from Südwind Energiesysteme of Germany are due for installation in India early next year, backed by a EU program dubbed ADAPT for adapting employment to industrial change. The Südwind project is one of 1400 projects to have been undertaken under ADAPT's umbrella, which has an overall budget of ECU 3.4 billion.
