Open days at two of Scottish Power's wind farms in Northern Ireland gave 4300 local people the opportunity to see wind turbines at close hand. Some 1400 turned out at Rigged Hill, County Londonderry, in September, while an earlier open weekend at Elliots Hill, Antrim, in August attracted 3000 visitors. The open days were organised by Larne based B9 Energy which developed the sites and now operates them on Scottish Power's behalf.
