Wind farm developer Ecogen has sold off another of its wind farms in Cornwall. Electricity generating company PowerGen became the owner of the recently completed 5 MW St Breock wind farm at the beginning of July. The 11 Bonus turbines began operation last month. PowerGen already has a 50% stake in Rhyd-y-Groes wind farm on Anglesey, north Wales and is a joint venture partner in Windcluster's Haverigg wind farm. The company is also bidding further sites into the third NFFO round: two small schemes at its Rheidol hydro-electric station and a further project near Staylittle in Powys.
