Signing up for state wind mapping project in Rio de Janeiro

Brazilian company Camargo Schubert Engenharia Eolica together with Enron's Eletrobolt thermoelectric plant are the latest companies to sign contracts with Rio de Janeiro state for wind mapping. SeaWest of the United States, Spain's Gamesa and Japan's Marubeni are already working on different mapping projects, all of which will help the state draw up accurate indications for developers on where best to locate their plants, state energy secretary Wagner Victer says.
