Owner of single wind turbine wins over utility

An owner of a single wind turbine in New Hampshire has won a battle with the local utility to be paid as much for the power he sells as for that he buys from Public Service Co. Farmer Tim Meeh of Canterbury, who owns a Bergey turbine, and five other small wind turbine owners, are now able to buy and sell power for the same price. Before April 1, Meeh had to buy power for $0.06/kWh, but could only sell it for $0.02/kWh, according to the Associated Press.
