Developing links with UK to promote renewables
The Thailand and UK governments have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a long term relationship between both countries' energy agencies to promote their renewables sectors. The UK's Department of Trade and Industry has identified Thailand as a key market for renewables technologies, says Britain's energy minister Brian Wilson. "The MoU will develop efficient and effective ways of boosting R&D and technology transfer in the renewables sector," he says.
