Bids invited for small wind plants on Madeira

Energias Renováveis, a subsidiary of Portuguese power company Electricidade da Madeira, has issued tenders for the construction of two small wind projects on the island of Madeira off the north-west African coast, an autonomous region of Portugal. Companies are invited to bid for the turnkey contracts, to include project design, construction and supply of turbines for the 10 MW Pedras wind farm and the 5 MW Loiral project, both in Paúl da Serra.
