Turbine sold

Ontario Hydro has announced it will buy the 600 kW cold weather modified Tacke Windpower turbine erected in Kincardine, Ontario, in 1995. Buying the turbine was one option related to a loan which Ontario Hydro had made to Tacke Windpower to allow the project to proceed. In its first year of operation, the turbine produced 1218 MWh, says Brian Kelly of the utility
