Tomen wind business becomes Eurus Energy Holdings after 50% sale

Japanese utility Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) has bought a 50% share in the wind development company Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation, formerly known as Tomen Power Holdings Corp. The remaining half will stay in the hands of Tomen Corp. The new company, which has a share capital of ´5.6992 billion, will continue to develop wind energy in Japan, Europe and USA. It operates 600 MW of projects and says it has a further 1800 MW under construction and development.
