Around 177 turbines, some 90 MW, were installed in Germany during the first three months of 1995 according to statistics compiled by Ingenieur-Werkstatt-Energietechnik of Hamburg/Wakendorf. During the same period last year, 99 turbines were installed, but their combined nominal capacity was just 22.16 MW. The statistics include about 95% of new installations connected to the grid in Germany.
