Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas has received two orders, each for 25 2 MW units, from Datang Chifeng Renewable Power, a subsidiary of China Datang Corporation. The 100 MW of turbines are for the Danianzi-I and the Bolike-II projects in Inner Mongolia. The contracts include supply of the turbines including towers, Vestas' proprietary wind farm monitoring and control system and a two-year maintenance and service agreement. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin at the end of 2008 with completion expected during the first half of 2009.
