Nordex Balcke-Dürr signed "the largest framework agreement in company's history," at the Hannover Trade Fair last month. The deal, worth DEM 78 million, was struck with wind plant developer Plambeck ContraCon of Cuxhaven for the supply of 36, 1.3 MW turbines for several large projects in Lower Saxony and Saxony Anhalt. The agreement included a first contract for 16 turbines worth DEM 33 million to be supplied this year, according to Nordex. Plambeck ContraCon is at least 150 MW of wind projects. "Over the next three years Plambeck will become one of the largest wind station developers and operators in Germany," says Volker König of Nordex.
