Local turbine maker wins order for 40 turbines for Tamil Nadu

NEPC India has won a $8.3 million order for 40, 225 kW wind turbines. It is a repeat order from an existing client, says the company's Rajkumar Khemka. The turbines will be installed by September 2004 in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. The company has also bagged a single turbine order to be installed at an energy park being set up in Abu Dhabi. NEPC was a former partner of Danish wind turbine maker NEG Micon.
