Danish turbine manufacturer Micon has installed a 600 kW unit in Austria, the first of the model to have been erected in the country. The M1800-unit has a 48 metre diameter rotor and was chosen as being the most suitable machine for the inland site. Its operator company, Windstrom Gerasdorf Windkraft Errichtungs-und Betreiber, received a government grant of ATS 3.024 million. The total investment was ATS 10.08 million
