Application for 18 MW

Project development company Saba Wind has filed an application to erect nine 2 MW wind turbines six kilometres south of the west coast town of Kristiinankaupunki and one kilometre from the shoreline. It is also seeking a permit for four 2.5 MW turbines in Hanko, where the company is based. It hopes to secure all permits by end of the year and commission the turbines in 2009.
