MICON INSTALLS 16 NEW 600KW TURBINES

Micon reports the installation of a further 16, 600 kW turbines during November. One turbine went in the ground on November 8 at Eliasbrunn and two more at Wilsen near Rostock and in Busenwurth on November 10. The installation of a 13 turbine wind station is also underway at Sillerup in Schleswig Holstein. This project will be completed in December. On the basis of list price not including VAT and transformer station, the Micon 1500-600/160 kW is at present the most reasonably priced turbine of this size on the German market, claims the company.
