Google Translate

Hard on the heels of a consent application for the world's largest offshore wind farm, in the mouth of England's River Thames (page 33), plans for a second large scale wind project in the estuary have been unveiled for public consultation. Warwick Energy is proposing to build a 300 MW wind power station 12 kilometres east of Margate, Kent. The Thanet project is to be made up of up to 80 wind turbines covering an area of 35 square kilometres. Warwick Energy says that if all goes well, the wind station could be built in 2007.
