Government approves project for 450 MW

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has granted construction approval for three further large wind farms with a combined capacity of 450 MW, it announced in late July. Two will be built in Shangyi county in northern China's Hebei province. Here, Guohua Energy Investment will install 199.5 MW, while China Longyuan Power Group will put up 100.5 MW. The last project, also 100.5 MW, will be installed in Zhangbei, also in Hebei, although the developer is not named by the NDRC. No other details are yet available.
