GWEC chairman missed conference due to illness

One key personality of the wind power industry was missed at the Global Wind Energy Council's premier event of the year held in Adelaide, Australia last month -- Arthouros Zervos, GWEC chairman. It was reported that he was hospitalised and unable to attend. His presentations were made by Vestas' Thorbjørn Rasmussen, GWEC's Angelika Pullen, and at the closing session, by Li Junfeng of the Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association, who reported that Zervos was on the road to recovery.
