LM India awarded ISO 9002


LM Glasfiber (India) Ltd has been awarded an ISO 9002 certificate of conformity for its quality systems for the manufacture, sale and service of glass fibre blades for wind turbines at its premises at Kasaba Industrial Area in Bangalore. The certification was carried out by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) which presented the ISO 9002 accreditation to LM on September 11. LM (India) Ltd is a joint venture between LM Glasfiber A/S of Denmark, the Danish IFU fund and wind turbine manufacturer, NEPC-Micon Ltd (India) in Madras. LM India employs over 50 people at its Hosakote factory and can produce up to 400 sets of 13.4 metre rotor blades a year.
