Blair wants votes via renewable energy

Prime Minister Tony Blair apparently believes there are votes to be gained in renewable energy. Just two days before the general election in which the Labour Party won a second consecutive term in office after a landslide victory, Blair said he had "absolutely no plans to expand nuclear power," according to a Reuters report. He told a press conference: "What we are actually doing is putting a lot of money now into renewable forms of energy."
