Global wind power growth documented

This article reports predictions of global installed wind capacity --overall and where it will happen--by the Worldwatch Institute, a non government organisation in Washington DC. Worldwatch predicts that by the start of the year 2000, worldwide installed wind capacity will have boomed to 12,100 MW, an increase of more than one quarter over the 9,600 MW installed at the end of 1998.
