EDF Energies Nouvelles (EDF EN), the renewable energy arm of French utility EDF, has commissioned 36 MW at Perdikovouni and Kalyva in the Viotia Province of central Greece. The two plant, comprising 12 Vestas 3 MW turbines, were developed by EEN Hellas, EDF EN's 75% owned local subsidiary. The company now owns and operates 111.35 MW in Greece, with another 30 MW due online early next year at Imerovigli on the Ionian island of Kefalonia, also using Vestas 3 MW machines.
