New president of renewables association

Germany's umbrella association of renewable energies, Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energien (BEE), has a new president. Johannes Lackmann was voted into office in April to replace Uwe Carstensen, who is now BEE vice-chairman. Lackmann was also elected in April to share the second-in-command post at Bundesverband Windenergie (BWE), the federal wind energy association. The other vice-chairman is Hermann Albers, reports BWE.
