Another sizeable order for megawatt technology to American Enron
1 March 2001
Energía Hidroeléctrica de Navarra (EHN) has ordered a further 46, 1.5 MW turbines from Enron Wind España (EWE), the Spanish arm of the US wind company, to add to the 33 units it ordered in January (Windpower Monthly, February 2001). The new machines are destined for EHN developments in Navarra as well as for use in new projects in Cuenca, Castile la Mancha, says EWE's Sergio Castedo. Meanwhile, the 100, 750 kW Enron units EHN ordered last year are now beginning to go in the ground at the 49.5 MW Isabela plant in Albacete in the region of Castile la Mancha.
