Scale of wind turbine failures are 'a bitter setback' – Siemens Gamesa CEO
Siemens Gamesa CEO Jochen Eickholt told reporters that problems with his company's wind turbine bearings and rotor blades are much worse than he thought possible. The component failures prompted parent company Siemens Energy to scrap its financial guidance for the year last night (22 June).
