Inflation hinders Italian wind-solar auction

Italian energy agency GSE has awarded 20-year contracts for difference (CfDs) to five wind projects with a combined capacity of roughly 214MW in Italy’s latest joint wind and solar auction, as inflation dented the business case for projects and discouraged auction participation.
