Leak: EU aims to fast-track wind turbine factory permitting to hit 85% local content target

The European Commission wants EU-made wind turbines to account for 85% of annual installations by 2030 amid warnings that the bloc’s manufacturing competitiveness is “deteriorating”, according to a leaked document.
