Vestas will supply 21 V150-6.0 MW turbines to Bord na Móna, for the 126MW Derrinlough project in County Offaly, in the Republic of Ireland. Delivery and installation is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2024, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2024. Vestas will also provide service for twenty years.
The OEM will also supply 24 V136-4.5 MW turbines to Infinergy, for the 108MW Limekiln project in the Scottish Highlands. Delivery and installation is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, with commissioning following in the third quarter. Vestas will then provide service for its turbines in the Irish and Scottish projects for 20 years.
Meanwhile, in Italy, Vestas will supply six V162-6.2 MW turbines to an undisclosed 37MW project. Delivery is expected by the third quarter of 2023, with commissioning planned by the fourth quarter and the turbine firm will also provide service for 10 years.
