Global wind developers Mainstream Renewable Power and Ocean Winds have signed the contract for the seabed lease agreement they secured in the ScotWind tender earlier this year.
They plan to build the 1.8GW Arven floating offshore wind farm at a site off the Shetlands.
The two companies are also developing floating wind off South Korea.
