UK: LS Cable & System and DEME Offshore have been contracted to supply and install the export cables at Vattenfall’s 1.4GW Norfolk Boreas.
The contract includes the design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing of around 360km of HVDC export cables and fibre optic cables, including the offshore installation and onshore jointing.
The consortium has also been appointed preferred bidder for the remaining projects in Vattenfall’s Norfolk Zone.
