Molly Morris picked as next US president for global wind developer

Norwegian energy giant, Equinor, has appointed Molly Morris as the new president of Equinor Wind US, where she will succeed Siri Espedal Kindem.

Molly Morris will take up her new role in January

Morris’ new role, which she will take up in January, will focus on guiding the development of Equinor’s offshore wind portfolio in the US.

The developer’s US offshore wind portfolio includes Empire Wind 1, Empire Wind 2 and Beacon Wind 1.

Morris joined Equinor in 2008 and currently serves as special advisor to Espedal Kindem, who will remain in the company to take a “new exciting opportunity”.

She has previously championed the company’s focus on sustainability, and held the position of senior vice president, crude, liquids and products in Norway.
