InfraRed Capital Partners has agreed to buy into four US and Canadian wind farms from renewables developer and energy utility Algonquin.
It is due to acquire a 49% stake in a portfolio of three operational US wind farms – the 149MW Deerfield in Michigan, 200MW Odell in Minnesota and 202MW Sugar Creek in Illinois – and an 80% stake in the 175MW Blue Hill in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The transaction is expected to close in December 2022.
