Vestas ices Japanese offshore wind turbine factory plan

Vestas has paused plans for an offshore wind nacelle factory in Japan – citing a lack of orders – while rival OEM Siemens Gamesa is reviewing its strategy for Japanese offshore wind amid an ongoing regulatory review.
