Siemens Gamesa is due to supply Turkish investor Kinesis Enerji with ten of its SG 5.0-145 turbines for a 50MW wind farm in the north of Spain.
The unnamed wind farm is due to be commissioned in the first half of 2024. Kinesis Enerji would not disclose where the project is.
Siemens Gamesa will also service the turbines for 25 years.
The manufacturer will produce the turbines’ nacelles at its plant in Soria, gearboxes at its factories in Guipúzcoa and Burgos, and electrical components at its plants in Cantabria, Madrid and Valencia.
