Canadian renewables developer Boralex has acquired Infinergy’s UK interests and with it, the developer’s portfolio of projects and its interest in a 50:50 joint venture formed with Boralex in 2017.
The portfolio comprises 338MW of wind, solar and energy storage projects: 232MW owned by the joint venture – including the 110MW Limekiln wind farm – and 106MW owned directly by Infinergy.
Control of Infinergy’s activities in the Netherlands and Australia is not covered by the agreement, and will remain unchanged.
