Innergex acquires 332MW onshore wind in Chile

Canada’s Innergex has completed the acquisition of a 332MW onshore wind portfolio in Chile.

It had agreed to buy 100% of the shares in Aela Generacion and Aela Energia – the owners of the three wind farms – earlier this year.

Michel Letellier, president and CEO of Innergex, said: “Chile continues to represent an attractive market for investment and provide several avenues for growth.”
