Nordex will supply 63 of its N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for an unspecified 302.4MW wind farm in Texas.
It will deliver and install the turbines in 4.8MW operating mode next summer.
The manufacturer has now sold 3.7GW of turbines in Texas, it stated.
Its Delta4000 series is taking up an ever-larger proportion of its order book, with increasing margins.
Nordex has not disclosed the project or the customer for the latest order.
However, Windpower Intelligence, the research and data division of Windpower Monthly has records of at least four 300MW wind farms being developed in Texas that do not yet have a turbine supplier:

Texas had 30.5GW of operational onshore wind capacity as of 1 November, according to Windpower Intelligence.
