The 385MW project consists of 60 Siemens Gamesa SWT-6.0-154 turbines installed 35km north-east of the island of Rügen in north-east Germany.
Arkona, developed by a 50:50 joint venture (JV) of E.on and Norwegian energy company Equinor, has been producing power since September 2018 and is due to be fully operational next year.
E.on was responsible for the construction activities. Project director Holger Matthiesen said: "The Arkona project has completed the installation of the wind turbines safely and extremely efficiently."
Arkona, formerly known as Arkona-Becken Südost, was awarded a construction permit in 2012.
It is E.on’s third and Equinor’s first German offshore wind farm.
"Most of" E.on’s renewable assets are due to be transferred to RWE in a complex shares and assets swap deal expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
