The Danish-Japanese manufacturer is in line to provide three V164-8.3MW turbines for the site — marking the entry of its V164 platform in the US.
EDF, which is co-developing Nautilus alongside US developer Fishermen’s Energy, aims to commission the wind farm in 2020.
The three-turbine site is fully permitted, but New Jersey’s Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is reviewing its eligibility for an offshore renewable energy credit (OREC) agreement.
