The Jelovaca project will be located in the north of the country and comprise 18 G97-2MW turbines.

SGRE will also service the project for five years, following its completion, expected later this year.

According to the manufacturer, FL Wind has developed ten projects in the West Balkans region.

Prior to the merger in 2016 Siemens was awarded a 50.6MW deal to provide turbines to the country's first commercial wind development – the Mesihovina project in the west of the country.

SGRE said it has installed 116 turbines totaling over 285MW in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Croatia in the past seven years.

Bosnia & Herzegovina's energy mix is dominated by thermal and hydro power projects.
