The manufacturer will provide its V136-3.6MW for the project in the municipality of Marker, situated on the Norwegian-Swedish border.
It will also install and commission the turbines under the terms of the contract with site owner, Swiss-based international energy and infrastructure company BKW Energie
Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2018, Vestas stated.
BKW Energie had invested in the project in July, stating the project was due to be connected to the grid by the end of 2018.
The company also has an unspecified stake in the 1GW Fosen Vind project.
According to Windpower Intelligence, the research and data division of Windpower Monthly, BKW owns projects in Italy, Germany, France and Sweden.
