The company was responsible for shipping the transition pieces from Denmark to Germany on behalf of fabricator Bladt Industries.

Martin Bencher built and installed a custom sea-fastening system for the boat so the pieces could be transported in an upright position.

E.on’s Arkona project, situated 35km off the coast of Rügen in northeast Germany, will comprise 60 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-6.0-154 6MW turbines. It is due to be commissioned in 2019.
