Under the CNY 434 million ($65 million) deal from Hebei Construction & Investment Offshore Wind, HHI will manufacture and install monopile foundations for 39 of the project's turbines.
The project will be the first in the Bohai region, HHI said, with commissioning due in 2020. HHI also recently won a deal, as part of a consortium, to manufacture, supply and install another 300MW project off Jiangsu.
China completed a 300MW project last month, the country's biggest, as its nascent offshore wind industry begins to heat up.
In its 13th five-year plan, the Chinese government targeted 5GW of offshore wind capacity connected to the grid by 2020. It will be supported by a favourable $0.12/kWh feed-in tariff, according to the Global Wind Energy Council.
