The company will service the 22 Nordex N60/1300 turbines at Greencoat and Swiss Life Asset Management’s project for "the next five to ten years", the company said.
The German utility service provider owns and operates 16 onshore wind farms in the UK, but this is the first time E.on has provided O&M for a site owned by a third party.
Katja Bartsch-Wünschel, director of the company’s European onshore division, said: "E.on operates under the motto "service with an owner’s eye", which means that we will provide the same quality of service and dedication as we would do for our own sites."
E.on also operates the nearby 31.2MW Bowbeat project, as well as the 50MW Camster, 24.7MW Rosehall and 15.8MW Deucheran Hill sites, all of which are in Scotland.
