The manufacturer will provide 13 of its G114-2.625 turbines to the Lichuan Zhonghao project in the Hubei province, in central China.

Delivery of the turbines to site has already started, with commissioning expected in December of this year. Provincial utility Hubei Energy owns the project.

SGRE will carry out operations and maintenance (O&M) servicing for the turbines over the next five years.

In 2009, Hubei Energy awarded Gamesa with orders for its 13.6MW Jiugongshan wind farm and again in 2011, for the first 49.3MW phase of the Qiyueshan project, according to Windpower Intelligence the research and data division of Windpower Monthly.

Last month, SGRE won a 300MW order from an undisclosed customer to supply 2MW turbines to the Xilinhot project in Inner Mongolia.
